You buy chunks of the map instead of specific fields, so you don't effectively own the whole non-field area of the map like it's your personal lawn to farm a million silage bales from. Milk has to be sold manually this was automatic in 17 but since wool wasn't it seemed a bit odd. Can sort-of do this with Chopped Straw mod in 17 if you use a direct drill without digging in the straw first. I think you might be able to no-till plant but not sure. Strictly speaking there are mechanical weeders in 17 but they don't work 'properly' on actual weeds like in 19. System of mechanics for weeds and pesticides/weeders. Mods for 17 could include such things but it's down to the whims of each modder. Typically more options for vehicle configuration in base game, like road/industrial tyres, twins on smaller tractors, etc. Physics for seat suspension (enhances in-cab view a bit, otherwise just graphical). Graphics, mainly in the area of lighting the actual fidelity of textures and models is mostly the same. So here is a more comprehensive list than others will provide you, of the new features in 19: Maybe it's not true after all, but it's one of a number of things you don't immediately realise you'd be missing if you went with the older game. I faced this same choice when deciding between 15 and 17, where people said the only change was graphics, and was glad I went with 17 after later hearing you can't pile stuff on the ground with buckets/tippers in 15.
